In this issue of the T-Phone Newsletter I have news of our new Blog and also information on using your laptop online whilst out of the office.

News Blog

Here at T-Phone Towers we get many enquiries every day from clients stuck on a particular problem to do with their Business Mobile Phone Account. Questions from “What is the default Nokia unlock code?” to “How do I get Hot Spots access on my T-Mobile data card?”

We decided that it would be a good idea, instead of letting these questions (and the subsequent answers that we gave) go to waste, to post them on our web site for all to see.  We hope to build a huge database of answers to common problems, as well as news on the latest handsets and timeplans.

Mobile Broadband

If you or any of your staff use a laptop and are often out of the office but need internet access then there are some great products available that mean you could be connected wherever you are.

It could be that you need to connect to the office VPS to connect to your server (and company system) or perhaps you stay in hotels that charge you an arm and a leg to connect to the internet.

Well one of our most popular products at the moment is the T-Mobile Web n Walk USB Mobile Internet device. With a very easy installation (it installs itself virtually) you just plug this oversized “Tic Tac” in to your USB port and click “Connect” and, coverage permitting, you have Broadband Internet – wherever you may be.

The cost is very reasonable too – from £17.02 per month which is cheaper than the cost of a Fixed Line BT line and Broadband Connection. It makes for a great office internet back up solution too as being USB based it’s not just laptops that it will work on. We have had quite a few clients who have used these when the office internet has been down for any reason and with bandwidth packages allowing 3Gb to 10Gb per month you should never run out of data either!
